Say hi to the 2021-2022 STC SoCenTx Admin Council! We’ve got a full slate of events planned, and are adding new platforms and venues for our chapter.

President: Jamye Sagan

As the Pharmacy Communication Advisor for H-E-B, Jamye helps design training programs and materials for various projects and initiatives in the pharmacy department. She also manages communications between the corporate office and the store pharmacies.

An STC Associate Fellow, Jamye volunteers with the Instructional Design & Learning SIG as Treasurer. Jamye also belongs to several other SIGs as well as the South Central Texas chapter. She also volunteers at the Society level.

When not making “sense out of the seemingly senseless” in the tech comm world, Jamye enjoys knitting. She lives in San Antonio, TX.

Secretary: Lee Mead

Lee Mead (they/them) has been working for the National MS Society for 17 years. While their focus has been mainly on the data processing side of the world during their tenure with the organization, these past few years have pointed them toward technical writing. Focusing on process documentation and business/project proposals, Lee has a decent portfolio of documentation at the Society. Earning the CPTC certification in 2019, Lee has started heavily focusing on TechComm learnings and opportunities to expand their career within the Society. They have also focused on QA and testing with recent software deployments as well as documenting the ways the old work translates to the new work during the change management process of moving to new tools.

Out in every aspect of their life, Lee is excited to help broaden the diversity and inclusion work within the National MS Society as well as within STC!

In their free time, Lee enjoys thrifting at local shops in Houston as well as spending time with the pack at home – two dogs (Moose and Squirrel) and two cats (Jude and Charlie). Charlie can often be seen when Lee is on webcam, so you might have already had the chance to meet him!

Lee hopes to gain new friends and connections in the TechComm community through volunteering on the admin council for the South Central chapter of STC.
