Dear Colleagues,
The STC Philadelphia Metro Chapter will be hosting its annual Mid-Atlantic TechComm conference on Friday March 8 at the Giant Conference Center in Willow Grove, PA. The regional conference attracts international presenters and attendees from many states.
The theme for this year’s conference is “Sharpening Your Personal Brand,” so any topic that will help our participants improve their personal brands in the world of technical communication would be appropriate.
The deadline for submissions is January 5, 2013. Please complete and submit this proposal form. You’ll receive an email confirmation that we have received your proposal. The selected speakers will be notified by February 1.
To be green, we encourage no paper handouts. Instead, we will post your presentation materials (slide presentation, handouts) on our chapter website for the attendees. After your presentation is selected, we request that you send a PDF or source files of your materials to conference@stcpmc.org prior to the conference date.
About the Sessions
Sessions are approximately 50 minutes, and are conducted in a classroom setting. Please provide your own computer, if necessary. Overhead projection is provided on site. Note that WiFi is provided free onsite.
