 Comments from outside Adobe:

“If you decide to attend Adobe MAX in Los Angeles this year, you’ll spend four days learning about the latest inspirations, technologies, techniques, and strategies for delivering your best creative work. At this conference, attendees will hear inspirational and iconic speakers sharing personal stories, inspiration, and advice on how to use creativity to impact the world.” – TechnologyAdvice http://technologyadvice.com/event/adobe-max-the-creativity-conference/

Adobe’s MAX conference shifted in 2013 from its earlier focus on developers to those using its Creative Cloud subscription service. Flash was over and it was time to bet the farm on Creative Cloud.

The 2014 conference is divided into six tracks: video, photography and creative imaging, graphic design and illustration, digital publishing, digital design and, new this year, one centered around 99U, the educational wing of Behance.

Sessions include such as Retail for Designers: How to Take Your Product to Market; Inspiration with Digital Publishing Suite; Controlling Chaos and Pushing Boundaries; 3D Printing 101; After Effects: Understanding Text Animators; and even Making Memorable Photographs with Photoshop Co-creator Thomas Knoll.

Pre-conference labs and workshops offer half- or full-day presentations on topics such as Hand-drawn Type and Lettering Studio; Animation and Interactivity on the Web; and Introduction to Design Research. – Graphics.com http://www.graphics.com/article/adobe-max-creativity-conference-set-october-los-angeles
