Have you ever heard the term “UX” and wondered what it really means? User Experience (UX) is becoming a vital part of many company landscapes, as business professionals strive to understand what their users need with the products and services that they purchase.

Join us on Tuesday, January 12th at the American Red Cross for our first STC Houston program meeting of 2016. Arrive for networking and socializing from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., followed by chapter announcements and the program at 6:30 p.m. (Find more details on other programs this season here.)

As technical communicators, we are long-standing advocates for our users. Most of our work involves explaining complex concepts in a language that any customer can understand and use. It makes logical sense then, that the world of UX and the world of technical communication can and should come together, all for the benefit of the user.

Rosheena Bove, Senior UX Interaction Designer at Intergraph Corporation in Houston, will share her knowledge of User Experience and explain why she believes content specialists and user experience professionals can work together to achieve the best results for their customers.
