It’s time to get in the holiday spirit and see each other in person.

There are so many holidays: St. Nicholas Day, Bodhi Day, Hanukkah, Yule, Christmas, Boxing Day, Kwanzaa, Zarathosht Diso, and the New Year (https://time.com/6242283/december-global-holidays-christmas-hanukkah-yule/).

Join us on Saturday, December 9 from 2pm to 4pm as we gather together in person for the first time in a long time.

We have reserved a table at Tommy Bahama in The Woodlands for the party (north of Houston). The chapter will provide appetizers and drinks (soda and iced tea), and the restaurant will give you a separate check for your entrée and drink.

In addition to enjoying each other’s company, we’re going to have a book exchange. If you want to join in, bring a wrapped book. We’ll draw numbers and exchange them Yankee-swap style!

The party is free, but we ask that you sign up and register so we can provide a good count to the restaurant. If you have any food allergies, please let us know so we can order appropriate appetizers.

I can’t wait to see everyone in December!
